Whew! What a whirlwind few months! Well, Travel Home, A Story, the show that my theater company has been working on for the past year, had its workshop debut at The Headwaters Theatre two weeks ago and we got some really interesting responses. A local author, Greg Lamb, wrote a wonderful blog entry about it and we were one of Willamette Week's Headout Picks for the weekend of Feb 21st!
And don't think we're stopping there--Oh No! After a little break, the collaborators will reconvene and tweak the script, then we're heading down to New Orleans in November for the Fringe. I have put my heart and soul into this project and I am so happy to continue working on it, I'm really proud of what all of us have accomplished.
As part of the marketing and general world-creation for the show, I started producing podcasts as well--you should check 'em out, they're pretty fun to listen to.
